2007 Mystery Events

Advance Books' authors Janet Biery and LB Cobb were featured guest authors at the Discovering New Mysteries International Mystery Festival in Owensboro, KY from June 12-16, 2007. Notable mystery writers participating in the annual event included Sue Grafton, Stuart Kaminsky, Robert S. Levinson, James W. Hall, Cordelia Frances Biddle, Beverle Graves Myers, Tasha Alexander, Kit Ehrman, Karen Robards, John Jakes, and Ira Levin.

2006 Book Events

Friday Oct 13, 6:00 p.m. Murder by the Book at 2342 Bissonnet -- Sisters in Crime 20th Anniversary Birthday Bash with refreshments and 13 published authors, local members of Sisters in Crime. L.B. Cobb will be a participating author.

Saturday, November 4, 2006, noon to 5 p.m. L.B. Cobb will be signing SPLENDOR BAY and PROMISES TOWN at Story Telling and Book Fair at Dewberry Farms, Brookshire, Texas (7 miles north of Brookshire, 15 minutes from Katy, 30 minutes from Houston). Bring the kids to enjoy the Dewberry Farms annual Texas Maze events.

Sisters in Crime 20th Anniversary and Annual Mystery Authors Events. Saturday Sept 23 2:00 p.m.  Borders Bookstore at 9633 Westhiemer Rd. -- Panel of authors including Al Franzmeier, Gayle Wigglesworth and LB Cobb, moderated by Pauline Jones.
